Steve is a nice prospect in the 2020 recruiting class and was one of Carlsbad’s main interior run stoppers on defense. He is a pretty good athlete moving down the line. He can strike, shed, and release to the football. He works hard trying to get into the backfield and has a good inside push. He needs to polish up his pass rushing skills and get better using his hands. If he can become more of an explosive athlete this offseason, his stock will rise. Right now, he is a D2 prospect.
