R.J. is an outstanding football player on both sides of the football. He is considered one of the premier safeties in the nation. An excellent combination of size and speed, R.J. covers alot of ground. He can play man or zone and can line up as a slot corner as well. He closes on the ball well, has excellent ball skills, and can be physical. He is just as good on offense running excellent routes with soft hands. Still, he projects as a defensive player like his father Ray, a former NFL cornerback. R.J. is committed to Clemson.
