Paula Talimoni Vaipulu

Paula is a great offensive line prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. At 6’4 305-pounds, he is a strong powerful run blocker that loves to finish. He can startle defenders at the point of attack, has the grip to control, and has the leg drive to move them back. When he stays low off the snap, he wins the one-on-one battles inside. He moves well pulling, not super athletic, but can get out and clear a nice opening and path for running backs. As a pass blocker, he can stay in front of pass rushers, but is a little inconsistent sitting down and getting the leverage. He strikes high but still can get the job done. He is a Division 1A lineman and if he can fine tune his technique and improve his flexibility, he can play at the highest level. He will be an elite standout as a senior and his stock could rise quickly. He is projected as a low Power 5 recruit before signing day.
