Matthew Kickel

Matthew is a 6’5 295-pound offensive tackle that is a nice underrated prospect in the 2019 recruiting class. His two best attributes are his size and athletic ability. You need both of these to have a shot at a D1 offer and he has both. He is a good lead blocker pulling and getting out in front of his running backs. He holds his own in the run game but could improve by getting better hand placement on his punch and needs to get lower off the snap for better leverage. He does well sealing off the edge to open some big holes up. As a pass blocker, he has nice lateral quickness and can stay in front of pass rushers. He has a lot of room to improve and with all his physical assets look for Matthew to move up the ranks. Group 5 prospect.
