Mat Joyce is an underrated offensive line prospect in the 2020 recruiting. He had a great junior season earning All-6A District honors and was the anchor up front for an 8-3 Rockwall team. They had a tough loss to Allen 52-40 in the Districts. He is a bruising run blocker that dominates the line of scrimmage. His smash-mouth style of play is well-known by his opponents and sets the tone up front. He unloads on them with aggression and finishes with authority. He moves well to the 2nd level and is a reliable pass protector. Although he doesn’t have any offers, we project he will have several D1 offers before signing day. He has the size, talent, and has excelled against some of the best teams in Texas.
