ESN PLAYER EVALUATION/NOTES
2018 Michigan Dream Team, 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-Ann Arbor News, 1st Team All-SEC Red Division. Griffin had 37.5 tackles and seven pass breakups to help lead the Hornets to a Division 1 state semifinal. MJ is one of the most improved players in the state from junior year to senior year. He is a big physical DB that can play CB and Safety. He showed that he has developed into a good run stopper. His opportunity to play offense is what showed all recruiters that he is a true athlete with tons of potential. He made plays on both sides of the ball and shined bright all season long. Power 5 recruit. Saline coach Joe Palka: “M.J. has been a dominant player for two years. He has developed into a great defensive back, but also was our most explosive player this year on offense and played every skill position. He has lived up to all expectations and is one of the toughest and hardest working kids I know.”
