Leon Mikaio

Leon is a big kid that is physically really put together. He plays DE and TE on his high school team but is projected as a DT or OG. As a DE, he made plays but doesn’t move well enough in pursuit to play this position at the next level. He is strong and a big hitter. As a TE, he was strictly a blocking TE. I really like how he fires off the ball and his quickness. He stays low and gets good leverage and has the leg drive to move defenders. He is not polished with his technique but you can see the potential if he played as an OG at the next level. He would be somewhat of a project because he is only 245 pounds and needs more technical instruction but has the tools if someone is patient for a few years. D1AA as a OG or Group 5 if he has a great offseason and senior year focusing on playing OG.
