ESN PLAYER EVALUATION/NOTES
2018 1st Team All-Detroit North, All-KLAA. 3-Year Varsity Starter. Kyle is a 2-way standout as an offensive guard and D-Tackle. He is strong and power on both sides of the ball and can control the line of scrimmage. As an OG, he is a mauler run blocking. He overpowers and overwhelms defenders with his punch, leg drive, and determination to dominate. He has a strong base as a pass blocker and you can’t go through him getting to his QB. He has good mobility pulling and will blow up D-Ends and OLB’s down the line. As a DT, he is a run stopper and can slice through gaps to get into the backfield and disrupt the offense. He is known for making big hits and he gets his hands up to deflect passes. Group 5 prospect.
Postseason Honors/Statistics/Other NOTES
Broke his leg at a summer camp but fully recovered to put up 44 tackles (24 solo), with six for loss and five sacks. The three-year, two-way starter serves as team captain.
