Kendrick Blackshire

Kendrick is one of the top overall prospects in the nation in the 2021 recruiting class. He is built like a college LB right now with his 6’2 245-pound frame. He moves exceptionally well for his size and has the versatility to play inside and outside. He is a tenacious tackler that can sink his hips and explode through ball carriers. He is one of the most feared players on the field. He does well dipping underneath on coming blockers in traffic and he will stack and shed with the best of them. He showed off his athletic ability playing OLB chasing down RB’s from the weakside. He takes excellent angles playing inside to shutoff sweeps and off tackle runs. He moves well laterally from gap to gap and when he and the ball carrier finally square up face to face, he bursts into the gap to finish them off. Power 5 national recruit.
