2017 All-CIF Southern Section Division 7. John is a 2-way standout for Palmdale HS at LB and TE. He is a solid athlete with very good speed and agility. As a LB, he has the length and superior size for a Power 5 prospect. He makes quite a few highlight reel hits and has the range to cover a lot of ground. He has great hands in coverage. As a TE, he can catch and has some playmaking skills after the catch. John is a Group 5 prospect and a strong sleeper as a Power 5 prospect. He could pick up a lot of momentum throughout the offseason to move up the ranks.
