ESN PLAYER EVALUATION/NOTES
James is a talent center and long snapper in the 2021 recruiting class in Texas. He is a little undersized but makes up for it being fundamentally sound, a great athlete for his position, versatility to play a few positions, work ethic, and not to mention his 4.0 GPA. He is at his best getting low off the snap and being super aggressive at the point of attack. The defensive lineman don’t expect the fierce intensity he brings and will startle them and win early in the rep. He is a nasty finisher that is always looking to pick off defenders down field up until the whistle blows. His brother Tommy has 21 offers, his older brother plays for Texas, and his dad played for the Chicago Bears. He is a late bloomer growing but it looks as if he is starting to blossom physically. Before it is all said and done, we predict he will end up with Power 5 opportunities.
