2017 All-CIF San Diego Section 1st Team Defense. Team MVP. 1st Team All-Palomar League. 2017 Stats (13 Games): 113 Total Tackles, 8.7 Avg, 6.0 TFL, 2.0 Sacks. 285 Bench, 420 Squat, 385 Deadlift. Drew is an old school middle linebacker that had an outstanding junior season. He is a fierce downhill mover that has incredible take-on skills against the run. He is a big hitter and anticipates well. He is a little stiff moving but his football IQ makes up for not having elite speed at his position. On offense he plays TE and FB. He is a great run blocker that takes pride in finishing every block. He is also a threat in the passing game and got the ball a few times as a short yardage runner at FB. He is projected as a MLB and is a Group 5 to a low Power 5 prospect. His brother played at Utah.
