J.B. Nelson

J.B. is a talent that has slipped through the cracks at this point of his career. He is a 6’5 250-pound defensive tackle and played offensive tackle. He has superior strength and power to neutralize blockers. He can dominate in the trenches with heavy hands and range that extends outside of the box. He has the power and leg drive to press the pocket and cause problems. There are not many that hustle more than this kid pursuing the football. He is at his best as a nose guard, but don’t underestimate his ability as an offensive lineman. He doesn’t show a lot of film as an OT, but he is really good on O. Group 5 recruit. Could go either way as a DT or OT. If he gets a lot of opportunities, he may get to pick.
