ESN PLAYER EVALUATION/NOTES
2018 & 2019 1st Team All-Detroit North, All-OAA Red Division. Garrett is arguably the top offensive tackle in Michigan for the 2021 recruiting class. He has the Power 5 size, frame, athletic ability, and skill level of a national recruit and all the offers prove that. As an offensive tackle, he has great feet that can mirror as a pass protector. He has a long wingspan and uses this to his advantage protecting his QB. As a run blocker, he can get to the 2nd and 3rd levels with ease. As a junior, he showed that he can finish with the best of tackles in the country. He is just starting to come into his own as a finisher and will improve in this area as he gets stronger. As a sophomore he played defensive end, he showed off his athleticism and determination to get into the backfield often and is able to disrupt opposing offenses. He has the range to track down ball carriers. He has all the tools. He is a 5-star national recruit.
