ESN PLAYER EVALUATION/NOTES
2018 Final Stats: 35 Total Tackles, 16.5 TFL’s, 8 Passes Batted Down, 1 INT, 2 Forced Fumbles. Evan is one of the most underrated prospects in the 2019 class in Michigan. He has excellent sized at 6’5 240-pounds and plays defensive end and offensive tackle. He was a force off the edge for the Wildcats, the anchor up front on both sides of the ball, and helped his team advance deep into the playoffs. He was extremely productive at DE and has the length, strength, and athletic ability to standout in a tough OAA Red Division. As much as we like him and his potential as a DE, we think he has an even bigger upside as a Offensive lineman. He should he is quick off the snap and he loves to finish aggressively. Without question a Group 5 offer player with potential to be a Power 5 recruit.
Postseason Honors/Statistics/Other NOTES
2017 Honorable Mention. Evan is a player to watch in the 2019 recruiting class. He plays DT and TE. On D, he does a great job using his length to deflect passes and he is a force inside where opposing teams have to double team. He is quick off the snap and finds ways to get into the backfield. As a TE, he has excellent hands and is a solid threat in the passing game. He is a strong run blocker that can really open up some holes. Athletically, he runs well straight ahead but is limited moving laterally. We like him more as on the D-Line right now but he could be an O-Lineman at the next level. Group 5 prospect.
