2017 All-CIF Southern Section Division 1. Had 34 tackles, 31 solo, 4 INTs (1 returned for a TD), and 10 PBUs. Great length. Elite size for the CB position. Very instinctive and breaks on the ball as well as anyone. Ball skills are outstanding. Equally skilled playing in man or zone coverage. Appears to have a solid understanding of his position and the game. A solid tackler who will come up and hit you. Elite speed that helps make him the No. 2 corner in the entire nation in his class. Has dozens of FBS offers already.
Postseason Honors/Statistics/Other NOTES
Ricks supplied some of the top highlights of the 2018 season when he returned three interceptions for touchdowns in a win over Centennial of Corona in the CIF-SS Division 1 semifinals. Ricks finished with a county-high nine interceptions and recorded 239 yards in return yardage on those interceptions.
