2017 Jackson Area Dream Team. 2017 Final Stats: 13 catches for 304 yards, 3 TD’s. Helped his team to a 13-1 season and a Division 6 State Championship. He also started on 2016 State Championship team. Dayton is a big kid that has versatility to play TE, DE, and MLB. His strength is as a receiver in the passing game. He does well getting open down field and getting behind the defense. He is a red zone threat. He is a decent run blocker and a sure handed receiver. On defense, he moves around at LB and DE. He does well stopping the run. He lacks explosive quickness and strength as an athlete. This is the area he needs to improve the most. He has the size. D1AA to D2 prospect.
