Daniel Ponnaiya

Daniel is a huge kid that was an impact player during his junior season. He took up a lot of space in the middle of the defense and was able to move down the line to make some plays. He was tough to contain and caused some problems for opposing offenses. Although he is 6-5 300 pounds, he does lack the athletic ability to play NG for a big school at the next level. Even though he didn’t have any film of him playing offense, I would look to recruit him as an offensive guard and get him in camp to see if he can play that position. He would be in more demand if he played on the offensive line. Group 5 prospect as an offensive guard or a D2 prospect as a DT.
