Dakarai Washington

2017 All-Detroit. Dakarai is a 2-year starter and leader of the Renaissance defense. He is an underrated inside LB that had a great junior season. He is at his best blitzing up the middle or off the edge. He racked up a lot of sacks and TFL’s. He is strong, has some good moves to get through and around the line, and is a solid athlete for his size. He has good lateral movement from gap to gap getting to the ball carrier. He is an explosive tackler. He has a lot of upside at the next level. Low Group 5 to D1AA.
