ESN PLAYER EVALUATION/NOTES
2018 1st Team All-State Division 2. Braiden is arguably the top overall player in the 2020 recruiting class in Michigan and is a national recruit. He is a 2-way superstar playing DE/LB on defense and TE on offense. He has a combination of superior size, speed, athleticism, and strength physically. He is also extremely talented skill wise on both sides of the ball. On defense, he is a force off the edge as a pass rusher. He can beat you with speed on the outside. He uses his hands well and has the agility and power to shoot the inside gap. He will hustle and track down runners in pursuit from the backside. He will also line up as an inside linebacker and has the ability to blitz through the B gap to make plays in the backfield before they turn up field. He is an explosive hitter and will smother ball carriers. On offense, he has the versatility as a receiver to flex out and beat a DB or LB downfield, or can work the flat or seam on a vertical route. He uses his body, length, and athleticism to win all 50/50 balls. He has great hands and can pick up huge chunks of yards after the catch. He could play on either side of the ball at the next level. It will be his preference based on where he feels he has the most potential to advance. He is the total package and his Alabama offers prove it. Power 5 national recruit.
