2017 All-CIF Southern Section Division 7 2017 Stats ( 13 Games): 96 Total Tackles, 7.4 Avg, 16.0 TFL, 10.0 Sack. Alejandro is a sleeper in the 2019 recruiting class. He plays DE and TE/OT on offense. He has excellent size at 6’5 240 and is still improving athletically. As a DE, he does really well bending and exploding into ball carriers tackling. He also has good take on skills against lead blockers running to the outside. He can shed and get to the RB. He is not quite as explosive as you want a DE so I would strongly consider him as a OT prospect. As a OT/TE, he did really well blocking and finishing on every play. He is more athletic as a potential OT than DE. He still has to get a lot stronger and powerful to be able to drive his man downfield at the point of attack and to finish blocks. He is a good knee bender. He has huge upside as a OT prospect at the next level. Group 5 to lower Power 5 as an OT.
