Furthermore, the Lions’ ended last season ranked 7th in the state.
Standing at 6’7, 265 lbs, Persi is an absolute beast upfront. His stellar play last season earned him a 90 overall rating here at EFN, as well as the number 4 spot on our offensive line rankings for California. Although still new to the position, Persi’s outstanding year put him on the map nationally. Jeffrey received offers from many Power 5 schools, such as Michigan, UCLA, and Duke. However, his recruitment ended very quickly, as he ultimately couldn’t pass up the opportunity to play for Ed Warner and the University of Michigan.
EFN Evaluation & Outlook
Persi has the potential to be something special. He has a Power 5 frame with great athleticism and long arms. He jumps off the line quickly and has the ability to bend and sink his hips. Persi is also very mobile and fluid, and he does a fantastic job of driving his feet on contact. He also has great technique as a pass blocker, and the way he drives his feet upfield is nothing short of spectacular. Jeffrey has the potential to be a dominant force in this game for years to come, as he continues to learn the position and get stronger. The college football world better look out, because Jeffrey Persi is coming, and he is looking to become a driving force in the game. He certainly will be a name to watch in the coming years at the University of Michigan.
