Miles Williams is a 6’0” and 170-pound speedster from Clackamas High School in Oregon, and through his first two years, he has separated himself as one of the top offensive talents in the state, especially in the class of 2022. Williams can play both ways at wide receiver and cornerback, but he prefers to play on the offensive side of the ball.
Sophomore Sensation
On a team that liked to spread the ball around, Williams had a solid sophomore year. Williams was one of the youngest impact players on the team, and he certainly made his mark with 29 catches, 444 yards, and 4 touchdowns. Clackamas had an up and down year finishing 4-5 after going 12-1 in 2018.
Williams is a guy that would continually beat man coverage, as he would get behind them and then make a play on the ball multiple times a game. His speed often forces the defensive backs to start playing off of him in coverage, and then he shows his ability to catch slants and balls across the middle. He is not the biggest player, but he has speed and can find the soft spot in defenses.
As only a freshman he picked up his two offers, as he was one of the first Class of 2022 players in Oregon to have any real looks from colleges. Oregon State and Nevada are still Williams’ only two offers, but he will certainly get more and more looks in the coming two years if he can help Clackamas get back to their winning ways after a somewhat down season.

Not only is Miles a top player on the field, he also will have no problem meeting school’s academic standards, as he currently sports a fantastic 3.9 GPA. His recruitment will be an interesting one to watch, as there are two schools that have been with him since the beginning of his recruitment, and are certainly more to come.
