Coming from Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado, rising senior tight end Terrance Ferguson is one of the best in the 2021 class. He uses his large frame, great hands, and impressive leaping ability to be a big-play threat that consistently burns defenses. Ferguson regularly makes plays on jump balls and outshines defenders all over Colorado.
Ferguson is a 6’5 220-pound and had a dominant junior season. He was selected to the 1st Team All-State team in Class 4A as well as winning Conference Player of the Year. His Sophomore season he was also placed on a few All-American teams for the class of 2021.
In his 2019 campaign, he had 1,229 total yards and 14 touchdowns with 54 receptions. In college he plans to major in Business focusing on Entrepreneurship.
Ferguson says that his biggest strengths on offense are his ability to attack the ball in the air and make tough catches in traffic, while adding the ability to block down the field. This combination helps make him a mismatch wherever he lines up on the gridiron. This offseason he is working on getting faster and stronger while continuing to improve on breaks and cuts in his routes.
Top 5 Colleges
As an elite prospect in the 2021 class, Ferguson continues to narrow down his recruitment after recently coming out with his top 5 schools. With offers from many Power 5 schools, he recently narrowed it down to Oregon, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Auburn, and USC.
Terrance has potential to generate a lot of success at the next level as his size, versatility, and athleticism will translate well to college play. He has built a lot of solid relationships with the staff of the final 5 schools, and they are all pushing hard for one of the top recruits in the country.
This coming season Terrance will look to continue to eviscerate defenses while looking to help Heritage High School continue their success after a solid 8-4 record in 2019.
