Tay Yanta

2018 2A 1st Team All-State Offense. Tay is one of the top offensive line prospects in the smaller 2A Division for the 2020 recruiting class. He has a big frame at 6’4 315-pounds and is athletic. He is a fluid mover pulling, getting up field, and in pass protection sliding laterally. His team moves him around from the right side to the left side and at both guard positions. They want to run behind and they don’t hide it. He does well finishing and is clearly one of the best kids in his conference, but I feel he could be more dominant and sometimes just does enough to get it done. He needs to be challenged more from better competition and I would like to see how he responds and how consistent he can play at a high level. He definitely has the physical tools and the ability.
