Steve Pollard

Steve is a quality prospect to check out in the 2020 recruiting class. He is an explosive nose guard that has a good combination of speed and strength. He has a 305 bench and squats 585. He has a fast get-off that causes problems for blockers and once they get to him he overpowers them with his strength and aggressiveness. He will bullrush and move the center and guard back 5 feet and can release and pursue the football. He has nice range from tackle to tackle and he even chased down a RB 50 yards down field on his video. This shows his hustle, determination, and ability to run. He is an underrated talent. He is listed at 6-1 but maybe 6-0. He does need to polish up his pass rush skills and not rely totally on his strength and speed. He is someone to take a closer look at and get him to camp. Group 5 prospect with potential to move up.
