LaVonte is a great pass blocker that has a violent punch at the point of attack. He likes to stonewall opposing pass rushers. He moves his feet well laterally mirroring defenders. He is a good run blocker but needs to bend more consistently. He is an average mover to the second level. He could be a good candidate to move to a Center. D1AA to a low Group 5 prospect.
