Jelani is a big, physical power back that is an absolute beast. When you look at his height and weight you may think that there is no way he could be a RB in college, but that isn’t the case with him. In the right offense and for certain situations, he could be an early-down grinder, short yardage force, a late-game closer, and could be a great lead blocker. He has speed that can out run most DB’s and he can make that one cut he needs before he bursts upfield. He is a nightmare for LB’s and DB’s that come up and support the run. He could eventually lose 15-20 pounds and be around the 245 pound range and add a little more speed and explosiveness. He is a difference maker and could be a unique back in someone’s rotation.
