Josh Carlin

280 Bench Press. Josh is an intriguing prospect in the 2019 recruiting class. His size at Center is a luxury to have up front and learning to play this position early on in his career could give him an advantage over other prospects. He heavy hands and has the strength to anchor against the bull rush and the power to get movement up front. He is a finisher and will drive defenders to the ground. He does well sealing off the middle on run plays. He is capable of getting to the second level and pulling but needs to work on his over athletic ability to be that top tier recruit. He is a little inconsistent bending on contact but is capable for sure. He just needs to fine tune a few things in the offseason and he could be a huge sleeper before signing day. He played some DT but is more of a space eater that occupies multiple blockers against the run. Group 5 prospect with the chance to move up.
