The LSU Tigers have national bragging rights after winning the college football championship this past season. Their Heisman Trophy quarterback, Joe Burrow, is from Ohio. Why not go back to Ohio to recruit their best prospects and capitalize off their current success.
This is exactly what LSU did and was fortunate to land Corey Kiner as the 10th commit in their 2021 recruiting class. The LSU and Ohio pipeline is stronger after today.

Tons of Opportunities
As a result of all his accolades on the field, Kiner had 25+ division 1 scholarship offers prior to committing to LSU. He had Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Penn State to name a few.
Evaluation
Kiner’s nickname is the “Joystick” and for good reason. He is shifty, can change speeds, weaves in and out of traffic, spin moves, and will even hurdle defenders to make them miss. Corey is strong and runs through arm tackles. He makes defenders pay, finishing off his runs. He is a touchdown waiting to happen with his breakaway speed and ability to turn the corner.
In the passing game, he is a great option coming out of the backfield and is a mismatch 1-on-1 against linebackers in space. Kiner is also a huge threat on special teams as a kickoff and punt returner.
LSU has a great recruiting class so far to date and adding Kiner will give them an offensive weapon about whom their fan base can get excited.
