ESN PLAYER EVALUATION/NOTES
2021 Senior Evaluation: Ryan helped lead Venice to an 8A State Championship in Florida. The 6’5 quarterback was the MVP in the State Finals. He was 18-of-21 for 255 passing yards and threw 4 touchdowns. He was the 8A State Player of the Year (Runner Up). Ryan emerged as an elite talent with his accurate passing, mobility in and out of the pocket, and making great decisions. His team finished with a 15-1 overall record.
March 2021 Evaluation (Junior Year): Played the 2020 season at Sarasota (FL) Riverview. Will play SR season at Venice (FL). Strong arm with plenty of zip. Can make any throw and can throw with touch. Calm, cool in the pocket. His athleticism gives him confidence in any situation. He will beat you with his feet. Can run zone read effectively and can pull it down and take off using his 4.5 speed to beat any defense. Extremely savvy with quick feet. His eyes are always downfield and he appears unaffected by chaos. The type of QB that can get any offense out of a bad play. He was 5-0 as a starter. An FBS Power 5 prospect whose offers will soon start rolling in.
Sophomore Evaluation (2019): An outstanding athlete who can play a variety of positions. He started at FS and WR as a sophomore and excelled in a strong Detroit Catholic League. Excellent size/speed ratio. He runs the 40 in 4.53. Ryan runs well and has an excellent range as a safety. He has a knack for the ball and loves to hit. Played QB late in the year and excels as a dual-threat. He is expected to be the starting QB as a junior and has excelled in the offseason. He has a strong arm, good mechanics, fearless, and his athleticism makes him a dynamic signal-caller. He has a huge upside and could be the difference-maker Rice has been looking for the last several years to get them back contending for championships. He should have a lot of offers by the end of his junior season. Another strong season at Rice will solidify himself as an FBS recruit.
Postseason Honors/Statistics/Other NOTES
