ESN PLAYER EVALUATION/NOTES
Ian is an impressive and one of the most talented prospects in the 2020 recruiting class. He played LB, QB, RB, and WR for his high school and was the best overall player in his league. He is tall, lean, and a explosive athlete with tremendous amount of playmaking skills on both sides of the football. As a OLB, he has the instincts to read plays and be in the right spot at the right time. He is amazing coming off the edge avoiding blockers with his speed and quickness to get in the backfield to make a play. He is one of the best at his pursuit range, hustle, and determination to catch a RB from the weakside. On offense, he played QB and was primarily a threat with his legs running bootlegs and taking several to the house. He showed off his speed and ability to make defenders miss in the open field. He played running back and did the same and he made a few catches really showing off his burst off the line and his hands. In college, we like him more on defense with a tremendous amount of upside. He could be a tall receiver. Power 5 national recruit as a OLB.
