Justin Collier

Justin had a nice junior season for Walled Lake Western playing defensive tackle and left guard. He was part of a big O-Line group but with everyone graduating he will be the anchor on both sides of the ball in 2019. As a LG, he is a powerful run blocker that will drive defenders into the group and open up holes for the RB’s. He is also a solid pass protector. On defense, he is a wide body that moves really well down the line and was able to get into the backfield and cause problems and make plays. On both sides of the ball, he is often too high coming out of his stance. He really needs to stay lower and bend his knees more to get the leverage he needs to defeat the elite players and take his game to another level. D2 to low D1AA prospect.
