2018 5A Honorable Mention All-State Defense. 2018 1st Team All-District. 2018 Final Stats: 53 Tackles, 16 Sacks. Alec is one of the best overall defensive players in the 2020 recruiting class. He takes pride in putting pressure on the QB’s and causing problems in the backfield. He is fast off the edge and can beat you inside. He can strike and shed and get to the football. He has surprising strength against the bigger lineman that outweigh him by 50-60 pounds. He is an explosive tackler that can weave his way through traffic getting to the ball carrier. He is also fast enough to track down athletic dual-threat QB’s and RB’s from the weakside in pursuit. He has good hands in the heat of battle and is just a tough assignment for offensive lineman that go up against him. Power 5 recruit.
